For some time now I’ve seen many blogs with colourful photographs. Mine looked a bit dry and bare. The only pictures I have on my blog happen to be ones related to radiology.
Time to change that.
Last Sunday I took my wife and daughter on a small outing with some friends to the same nearby hill resort town that featured in an earlier post of mine. This time around it was a nice family picnic. So I have no qualms in posting some pictures of the wonderful guest house that we spent a few hours in.

First the kids and the ladies went on a rowing trip around the small lake in the middle of town. Then we took off to the guest house to have a nice lunch that we had taken along.

That’s the driveway (from inside the gate).

and the first view of the house.

Built more than 60 years ago in the British plantation house style.

A view of the drive way and

The house from the other side.

The cars parked in front of a small clump of Bamboo. Those are three jackfruits from the plantation lying near the pole.

The kids having fun on a swing. The lady on the swing is the lovely Mrs. Scan Man.

The green, overgrown lawn.

The house and the hill in the background, from the lawn.

A view of the coffee plantation beyond the lawn. I didn’t go close enough to get the coffee shrubs in the picture.

The green creeper is a black pepper plant.
This is the kind of place that I want to spend my old age in.
But miles to go before that….

Wow! Those are GREAT pictures! What a pretty place that is. I think that if I went someplace like that, I would have a hard time making myself go home again …
Dr. Scan Man … looking forward to the next time you post some pictures! :o)
