Newborn With Breathing Distress.

A CT scanogram of the chest and abdomen of a neonate with breathing distress reveals a fairly straightforward diagnosis.

Findings:
Stomach and multiple bowel loops are seen in the left side of the chest.
Severe mediastinal shift with the heart and trachea seen on the right side.
No bowel gas in the abdomen.
Diagnosis:
Left-sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia (Bochdalek hernia)
