I took yet another of those online quizzes.

I found it through MedStudentGod’s blog.

The medical specialty for you is…. Internal Medicine

Internal medicine is better than any of the specialties. When a patient comes in for a check-up, you can send them home with a clean bill of health. And when a patient comes in with high blood pressure, you can prescribe one of a wide variety of drugs, including beta-blockers, diuretics, and ACE inhibitors. And when a patient comes in with some other problem, you will be able to refer them to one of a long list of your colleagues.

Well. That is quite a Compliment! Hey, you could have done a lot worse!

Hey, I was Dr. Beverly Crusher, remember!

    Thanks Rob,
I didn’t quite think of it as a compliment because I was thinking of this aphorism:

A Surgeon knows nothing but cuts everything.
A Physician knows everything but does nothing.
A Psychiatrist knows nothing and does nothing.
A Pathologist knows everything, but a little too late.

& to add one of my own…
A Radiologist sees everything and knows what the differential is but does almost nothing other than tell people what a great job he did.

Surprise, surprise…I turned out to be a psychiatrist…

Or, a Radiologist is a physician who knows lots, but is afraid of human contact.

By the way, what is the plug-in for this comment section? I like the way it gives buttons at the top. I just put in a random archived blog entry that it displays on the first page. The old stuff gets buried in the archive - it lets the newer folks see what you did in the past.

Hey Pt.Anon, I would have been surprised if you had turned out to be anything else :D

Rob, I don’t get which plugin you are talking about. As you have already used the Tiga theme I’m sure you did not mean the comment permalink button (the large numeral on the right end of the comment title bar).

Here is the list of all the Comments-related plugins that I are active in my blog:

Comment Quicktags by Owen Winkler. (I can’t see the download link for this particular plugin in his site’s download page).
    Customizable Post Listings

Get Recent Comments by Krischan Jodies, and
