Scary isn’t it?!

I don’t know what TJ thinks of me, but she has been kind enough to bestow this on me…

My gratitude is tempered by the fact that she reminds us at the end of her post that she is a woman and all of her nominees are male. I don’t know what she’s trying to say.

This is an unusual blog meme that was born here and there are some simple rules.

  1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
  2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme
  3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn’t fit your blog).

With the powers bestowed upon me, I hereby confer the award on …

  1. Michael C. Hébert (though I know he doesn’t ‘do’ memes, many would agree that he eminently qualifies for a serious thinker’s award)
  2. Rob Lamberts, who deserves an award for a very special kind of thinking, which is impossible to imitate. A true Genius.
  3. Lakshmi. This isn’t just the usual ‘blog meme’ / ‘tag’ routine.
  4. Arunn. Everyone who visits his blog would agree.
  5. JMB. You are older, hence you ought to be wise :)

Congratulations Winners. Please pass this on to other ‘deserving bloggers.’ ;)

unskilled in the arts of composition, I resolved to write a blog.”

Edward Gibbon uses ‘book’ instead of ‘blog’)

    Hey Vijay…

I’m glad you accepted the award!

    Thanks.

I have few male blogger friends who will.

    *smile*

    Have a great Friday!

    Vijay,
I’m so touched I can’t speak. That you have put me in a list with Michael Hébert and Rob Lamberts has made my day. I am old enough to be wise and hopefully I do have a certain level of wisdom, but, just as you can’t have too much money or be too thin, you can never have too much wisdom and I hope that I will continue to acquire it as long as I live. So I accept the award and being a newbie blogger, it will take me a bit to figure it out but I will for sure.

But if this is a bribe for me to support India for the WCC, forget it. Go Aussies, go!
    Regards
    jmb

Vijay - TJ beat me to it! :)

You also chose Dr. Hebert - so he’s getting hit twice! If he would just accept the award, it would tickle me.

I love your choices - and I agree with you on all of them. If I could give a blog award to everyone I know who deserves one, there would be a very long list - because I feel blessed knowing so many great bloggers! Each one has his/her own flavor, and can’t be imitated or replaced by anyone else.

What on earth did we do before there were blogs, Vijay? ;)

    Vijay:

Thanks so much for the Award. I will post my thoughts on this one, but I fear that I too will duplicate.

I am not sure what “special kind of thinking” represents. Is that something like the “special Olympics?”

    You are a good man.

    Rob
