Saturday Photo Hunt - “Sweet”

I’m late - only by IST, it’s still Saturday in Alaska.

After a week of racking my brain I could not think of anything original for this week’s theme sweet, I almost gave up.

Thanks to inspiration from Ipanema who has posted a set of exquisite photos & JMB, I have something to post….

To a young father, there can be nothing sweeter than his daughter. Here are a few photos of my daughter, taken on two separate occasions a few years ago.

That is my daughter, A holding a photo of a far younger version of herself.

At a picnic about an hour’s drive from Coimbatore.

The same picnic. She’s ‘helping’ her mother to rinse the lunch box in a stream which was very muddy on that day because of overnight rain. I know I’m biased, but I think P (my wife) is sweet too :)

A waiting to cut the cake on her fourth birthday. At her left is her cousin and bestest friend M.

She does a twirl whenever she wears a pavadai (the Tamil name for the traditional long skirt) to see the skirt billowing out.

Here in India we observe Doctor’s Day on July 1.

Happy Doctor’s Day

Well it’s still Saturday here in Vancouver too. These are lovely photos of your sweet daughter and wife (with her sweet happy smile). And a sweet cake for her birthday. She looks lovely all dressed up for the special occasion. I knew you’d think of something.

Oh my Vijay….These are such good pictures of your sweet daughter. I love the one of her twirling in her beautiful skirt, and the anticipation in her eyes, while waiting to get into that birthday cake.

Your wife is very pretty, and looks like she has a great personality!

Oh, these are beautiful and sweet photos of your daughter. And yes, your wife is sweet too. I can be very happy if my husband [R.I.P] would say that about me. Ha!

    Your daughter’s dress is pretty!

Thanks for the mention by the way. I just checked technorati. :)

I see that I made some typos in the comment I just left … really, today I’ve been the Typo Queen! Not only can I not fix my comment, I can’t even make it come up so that I see where it needs fixing!

My Firefox must be giving me caching issues …
