Book Quiz.

Sunday afternoon.

Nothing to do after a great meal of biriyani washed down with Bacardi Breezers (I had the Blueberry, Jamaican Passion, Orange & Cranberry flavours).

My idle mind was saved from devilry by the promise of a quiz on books (or that is what I thought).

You’re Siddhartha!

by Hermann Hesse

You simply don’t know what to believe, but you’re willing to try
anything once. Western values, Eastern values, hedonism and minimalism, you’ve spent
some time in every camp. But you still don’t have any idea what camp you belong in.
This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely. It’s
time to chill out under a tree. And realize that at least you believe in
ferries.

Take the Book Quiz
at the Blue Pyramid.

Excuse me!!

Nice to know I’m an ‘individualist of the highest order.’ As to the ‘chilling,’ that’s what I believe I was doing, in the comfort of my house, before I took the quiz.

I saw this at Tundra PA’s blog and thought I’d give it a go. I agree with her that though the six questions that I answered ’seemed odd and unrelated to anything,’ the prediction is scarily accurate.

One more book to be added to my ‘to read’ list.

    You’re To Kill a Mockingbird!
    by Harper Lee
Perceived as a revolutionary and groundbreaking person, you have changed the minds of many people. While questioning the authority around you, you’ve also taken a significant amount of flack. But you’ve had the admirable guts to persevere. There’s a weird guy in the neighborhood using dubious means to protect you, but you’re pretty sure it’s worth it in the end. In the end, it remains unclear to you whether finches and mockingbirds get along in real life.

Hmmm…interesting Ramona. The ‘groundbreaking’ and ‘perseverance’ I can understand. You did become a Plastic Surgeon. But who is this weird guy, I wonder?

Vijay, I ended up being “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” … something about liking to float down rivers.

Actually, I like to float in lakes … does that count?
