My husband who was firearms instructor for the city police for years use to take me to the firing range once in awhile. First time I fired a gun (357 I think), it knocked me flat on my butt. I knew this would be an original take on the theme. I think the gun was a Beretta. This was taken in a firing range in a Cleveland suburb in 2004. My friends took me to a gun shop to satisfy my touristy curiosity. A friend of my friend had a licensed pistol that he practiced with regularly, so he came along with us and let us try our aiming skills. I found it very difficult to aim, shoot and handle the recoil.
