I guess I deserved this. I should have known better after the previous misadventures.

I saw this in the sidebar in JMB’s blog and gave it a go…

In case you were wondering, JMB’s blog’s reading level is “Genius.”

I wouldn’t take this too seriously if I were you. When I saw some other results, on blogs which were far superior to mine and coming up with elementary school or college or whatever, I decided that they just give these things out in random order or even rotating order and they are not a true indication anything whatsoever. That said, I could not resist putting mine in the sidebar. I wonder if you get a different answer if you try again or if it will remember you.

Well, you have to look at my blog. It says “elementary school”. Which is actually perfect, when I think about it. I have to understand my blog too, you see :P

Hi..stumbled in here via your blog on vox. Good stuff..and if I may say, a reading level perfectly suited to me! ;) I’m planning to spend today exploring all the posts and links!

    *LOL*

I thought this was pretty funny! I did it, too…

Mine came up Elementary School! I guess it could have been worse, like preschool or something.

*lol*…. I did it as well and I think I scored pre-kindergaarden or something :( so I was too embarrassed to post it at all.

Anyhow… I want to wish you, Vijay & your family, a happy & peaceful 2008… soon at this side of the world the clock will tick over to another year.

Hey Vijay, I did this a while back and I got “Elementary School” or something. I felt great. Yay, me. But then again…

I do try and use big words and stuf and spel corekt and all that like stuf and ya know? Yah?

I’m not sure how they calculate their results but I did it after I posted this ridiculous joke “Literary Post” called “Writer’s Block.” It was one long rambling piece of incoherent nonsense. Maybe it was based upon that?

    Take care,

My vox site matches yours, which is nothing to complain about. But nOnoscience falls under “high school”. High schoolers must have a very high standard of science these days.

I apologize for not responding to any of the comments before this.
JMB & Lakshmi: I didn’t take this too seriously. The first thing that I did after I saw my result was to check nOnoscience’s readability. It got Junior High School!! But then, the intrepid investigator that I am, I tried out a particular post with many equations. The result came back as ‘College (Postgrad).’ Vindication :) Lekhni, Pattie & PtA: I think Lekhni got it right when she said “I have to understand my blog too, you see.” And we have to assume that people who read our blogs are similar to us :P msw: Happy New Year to you & yours too.
enjay: Thanks. I have your blog bookmarked, but haven’t had the time to explore. I’m usually a lurker for a while at new blogs that I visit.

Hey, I got the “Junior High School” reading level too.

I think this is the same assessment as for the New York Times, so besides having each other, we are in esteemed company.

Don’t fret your reading level. Your content is superb and you play a damn fine game of Scrabulous.

    Hugs ‘n kisses,
